In an industry that is moving at an accelerated pace, MacFarlane values gaining connection and appreciation for handwork, honouring a slower way of working.

“Voya Vest” is part of a “mendfullness” project which aims to reconnect with oneself as well as the traditions of others. The garment was purchased second-hand, in worn condition. MacFarlane then used mending techniques, synthetic dyes and embellishments to give the old garment a new life.
